"The Capitoline Venus" is a Roman sculpture made in the second century A.D. (sculptor unknown). The nearly seven-foot tall marble sculpture was on loan to the United States from Italy in 2011 and was displayed in the rotunda of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., where it was photographed.
