Description
Major General Nathanael Greene fought in the American Revolutionary War, and had the high trust and confidence of George Washington. Greene was a native of the State of Rhode Island where he was born in 1742. This bronze statue of Greene was made by Henry Kirke Brown in 1877 and is located in Stanton Park a few blocks east of the United States Capitol in Washington, DC.
