Description
This photograph is of the Supreme Court of the United States with tourists and visitors gathered in front of the building, primarily on the steps. During daylight hours, people are allowed to be on the steps and can walk up to the front door, which is usually locked unless there is a need for it to be opened. Above the high columns is the inscription "Equal Justice Under Law." The Supreme Court is directly across the street from the United States Capitol, and photographing the Capitol from the stop steps of the Supreme Court is a popular shot for people to take.
