Description
Arlington National Cemetery was established in 1864 and is on 624 acres of prime hillside land in Arlington, Virginia, directly across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. The cemetery is known for its identical white tombs that stand at attention in perfectly lined rows, allowing for fascinating patterns throughout the hills and valleys, with or without trees, in light and shade, allowing for innumerable photographs.
