Description
Cushman Kellogg Davis was a Governor of Minnesota and a United States Senator from that state. This bas-relief sculpture is part of the memorial to Davis at his grave site in Arlington National Cemetery in suburban Washington, DC. The sculpture depicts Davis' participation in the 1898 Paris Peace Conference that was convened to end the Spanish-American War. Davis died two years later at the age of 72.
