Description

I am spooked by the light and dark in this photograph because it gives the effect that Elizabeth Taylor is rising from the dead, with a vengeance. The mural of Liz was made by artists Byron Peck and Ivo Koytchev in 2013. It rises three stories high and is on the side of the Dacha Beer Garden building at 7th and Q Streets, NW, in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC.
