Description
This sculpture of Abraham Lincoln kneeling in prayer was made by Herbert Spencer Houck shortly before his death in 1931. Houck said his inspiration for the sculpture came from his grandfather, who claimed he had come across Lincoln kneeling in prayer at Gettysburg. The petite sculpture, which is 38 inches in height, was photographed at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.
