This is one of the two Twin Towers in Rosslyn, Virginia, or maybe both of the Twin Towers, it depends on whether you want to consider the other Twin Tower being in the photograph even though it is hidden behind the trees on the left. These buildings, and one will do for me, have always been one of my favorite architectural structures in the Washington, DC area. Although prominently seen from the Washington side of the Potomac, this photograph of the Twin Tower(s) was taken after I exited Arlington National Cemetery's north gate on the Virginia side of the river.

I enjoy photography and writing, and sometimes think of myself as a photojournalist. If there is a story to be told with a photograph, I tell it. As a longtime resident of Washington, DC, a lot of my photographs are of this area, and I enjoy writing in the description something about the shot -- it could be a short statement about an equestrian statue in the middle of a park, or a more intimate tale of the mausoleum where Abraham Lincoln's son, Willie, was entombed for the remaining three years of Lincoln's presidency after the boy's death.
