Artist's Description

This view of the United States Capitol was photographed from atop the forty steps that lead to the front entrance of the Supreme Court, which is directly across the street from the Capitol. In the foreground is the back of the statue “Authority of Law” which is on the right side of the steps as you walk up. The Capitol and the Supreme Court are in Washington, DC.
