Description
Georgetown University is on a hill in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. It was founded in 1789 and is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher education in the United States. Healy Hall, with its distinctive spires, is the university's flagship building, and was built in the late 1870s. Georgetown University has had many of its students go on to distinguished careers, and today one of its most famous graduates is President Bill Clinton. This photograph was taken from Key Bridge.
